I just love mini cakes! They are so cute and small and you don't exactly feel guilty if you eat half of it! That's the beauty of mini desserts. Not being guilty. Plus it gives you the chance to do a few different decoration ideas that you've just been dying to do.

Roses
I don't know about you guys but I've seen quite a few pictures of desserts like these on Pinterest lately. It got me wondering on how the people that made them, well, made them. So I examined a picture or two of the little rose cupcake pretties and did a little research as well and came up with a conclusion. It's a fairly easy conclusion, but can be time consuming, so you better be very ambitious to do these!

Disney Series: Beauty & The Beast
Belle just happens to be my absolute favorite Disney Princess. Not only that, but it's also one of my top 3 favorite Disney movies, alongside Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland. I think this movie is a part of so many favorites of mine because of all the amazing scenes and characteristics the characters have. The one dream that I really want to come true is to have a library (but on a smaller scale of course) just like the one in the movie. Plus Belle's iconic yellow ballgown. And the Beast. Well basically everything.

Disney Series: Little Mermaid
Who doesn't love The Little Mermaid? I know I sure do! It's such a classic story plus it also includes my love for mermaids and Disney, of course. And this cake also wouldn't be a cake without having the main characters on it.

Disney Series: Sleeping Beauty
Sleeping Beauty. I love this story, but did you know that Aurora is barely even in this movie? It's mainly because she's asleep through like half of it. So to me the main character who is in the whole movie is Prince Phillip. Either way I still love this movie and this cake just happens to show one of my favorite scenes!

Disney Series: Alice in Wonderland
I love Alice in Wonderland and I just can't get over on how cute the cookies of the characters turned out! And once again I'm home alone, this time for a full week(!!!!), and I'm getting all kinds of baking ideas out of my head and put onto cake! Along the way during this family free week, and continuing the Disney Series, I got another 3 character cakes done and you'll eventually get to see them! Can't wait!

Disney Series: Frozen
This here is cake 3/3 of the family free weekend and the Disney series project (but don't worry, it's not the last last of the Disney series project!). Frozen is one of the newest movies that has become a really big hit, so of course it was necessary to make a Frozen cake (if I hadn't my sister would not have been very happy with me).

Disney Series: Snow White
This here Snow White cake is number 2 out of 3 to the family free weekend Disney series project! Woohoo! Is it bad that I'm really super excited about doing all of these different kinds of Disney cakes? I just have all of these ideas popping out of nowhere and they just keep coming! Anyways, I'm super excited about this cake because it not only features Snow White but also includes Prince Florian and of course the seven dwarfs!

Disney Series: Aladdin
You ever get one of those weekends when you get the whole house to yourself? Well I do sometimes and I must say that I enjoy it way too much. Lets just say that my family can be pigs sometimes so I take this as an opportunity to clean house, and then mess it up again when I get bored and head for the kitchen to bake. Well on this family free weekend I had a few weeks ago I wanted to do a few things, so this is the start of a little (ok, maybe not so little) project of a series that will involve a whole lot of everything Disney. And when I say everything, I mean literally almost every single Disney movie. (Did I mention that I'm a Disney freak?)

Sunflowers
I absolutely love sunflowers! There's just something about them that makes the day just a little bit brighter when you see one. Living in North Dakota and being a daughter of a farmer, I see quite a few fields with sunflowers during the summer months and just can't help but look at them.

Itty Bitty Animals
I recently found the cutest cake of a cow on Pinterest and it was just so adorable that I had to do it myself. Once I found out how this cute little cake was made I automatically hit up Amazon and bought myself this pan. It's the cutest little 3D bear pan and it's so tiny and cute that you could eat the whole thing (well maybe not the WHOLE thing, more like half) and not (sort of) feel guilty about eating it. After buying this pan the ideas just started to come to me on what I could make. The possibilities are endless! I've only done these four little critters so far but I have so many ideas left that I'm going to do.

Cinderella
I've been wanting to do a cake featuring Cinderella for over a year now and a few months ago I finally decided it was time to do it, mainly because the live action Cinderella movie by Disney was coming out, it was perfect timing really.

Peter & Wendy
Have you ever had a crush on an animated character? I'm pretty sure that most people have had one. Well for me Peter Pan was one of them. I'm not sure what it was about this character that got to me, maybe it was because he was sort of a rebel or maybe it was because he could fly. I'm not so sure what it is about Peter Pan that I like so much.
